One of the Premier Motor Sports Events in Michigan returns for its 17th year at the Ottawa County Fair. SJO, home of the Michigan State Fair Supercross Series, has riders from 4 years of age to over 40 racing bikes from 80cc to the big 250cc on a specially designed course with jumps and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the night.

"Harness Racing"

Top horses and drivers will compete for estimated purses of $200,000. Harness Racing has been a main attraction at many county fairs since the 1800's, when friends and neighbors would race to see who had the fastest horse. Originally run on city streets, these contests found a welcome home on fairgrounds as popularity grew. Experience the grand tradition at the Ottawa County Fair!

Lost Nations Rodeo Company was established in February, 2008 by Shilo Walden, Adam Walden and Jeremy Phillips. These Clinton natives have been exposed to the rodeo way of life since birth and each possess extensive knowledge, experience and a deep passion for the rodeo. During their events, spectators will see World Class Rodeo action and entertainment provided by some the nation's best and Top-Circuit Cowboys. Lost Nations Rodeo strives to provide a Family Fun Event.

The Ottawa County Fairgrounds has been the official Tulip Time campsite since 1960. We offer sunny or shaded lots with 30 amp electrical hook-ups to all sites, and water is available to many sites.

Group Picnics/Gatherings

We offer a spacious private setting of 60 acres, shaded picnic area that can handle 100 -10,000 people. There are state of the art bathroom facilities on the grounds. The fairgrounds are available throughout the summer months.
