OTTAWA COUNTY FAIR HOLLAND FRIENDS of ART FINE ARTS EXHIBIT 2017
The Holland Friends of Art is pleased to once again sponsor the Fine Arts Exhibit at this years Ottawa County Fair. This exhibit is located in the 4H building.
Exhibitors need to know - all ages are encouraged to submit up to six pieces of art completed by the exhibitor within the past three years and not previously submitted. Divisions will be identified by Adult and Youth. Categories include oil, acrylic, watercolor, drawing, sculpture, pottery/ceramics and mix media.
Art work will be judged by Ann Corlett an award winning, creative, well traveled, published artist from Saugatuck. To learn more about Ann, check out Ann Corlett Artworks. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places with Best of Show awarded in the Adult and Youth divisions.
Set-up will be Saturday, July 22nd from 9am to noon and Pick-up will be Sunday, July 30th from 10am to 1pm All art work must be dry and hung from a wire, not a saw tooth hanger. Artists will complete an application and label the back of their entry upon arrival on set-up day.
This exhibit will be displayed in a locked at night building and every precaution will be taken for the safety of each entry. We encourage all artists to consider and prepare their entry/entries or begin an original piece of art for this Fine Arts Exhibit. We also encourage artists to invite, family and friends to visit this exhibit.
