Storage Registration
For New Customers

I will be storing my items and making an online  payment 

    Storage space is limited

    Pick up Date:  April 18, 2020

    **Note:  Please mark your calendar as we will not send out reminders.  There will be a $5 per day charge for any storage item left after April 20, 2020.

    Special Handling:

    If you need "Special Handling" prior to April 13, or need to drop off on a date other than listed above, a fee of $30 will be charged.  
    **Note:  Under no circumstances will any item be removed while snow is on the ground - No Exceptions!

    Terms and Conditions:

    The Ottawa County Fair Association, which leases the Ottawa County Fairgrounds from Park Township, hereby authorizes customer to store his/her vehicle and/or boat at a location designated by the Fair Association in one of the buildings on the fairgrounds on the following terms:
    1. Any vehicle, boat, trailer or other property of customer left at the fairgrounds at the end of the storage term shall be deemed abandoned by customer and neither the Fair Association nor the Township shall be responsible for such property once it is pulled out of storage. The Fair Association may remove or dispose of such property as it sees fit. The Fair Association and Park Township are not liable for any damages done between the time items are removed from storage and the time they are picked up.
    2. Storage Charge:  The storage charge shall be as outlined on the website form, paid in full before dropoff.
    3. Limitation on recovery of damages:  Customer releases, discharges, and shall hold harmless both The Fair Association and The Township from any liability for loss, damage, injury or other casualty to persons or customer’s vehicle, boat, trailer, or other property stored at the Fairgrounds or arising from or related to the storage of such property, including, without limitation, damage resulting from fire. Customer acknowledges he/she stores his/her vehicle, boat, trailer, and other property at his/her own risk. Customer should maintain his/her own insurance for any items stored at the Fairgrounds.
    4. Fuel Tanks:  Customer shall remove all fuel tanks and other containers used for the storage or transport of fuel that are portable from the boat before it is placed in storage.
    5. Smoking: No smoking, open flames, heaters or electrical equipment are allowed in any fairgrounds buildings used for storage.
    6. Repair work: No repair, maintenance or other work shall be dond on the vehicle, boat, trailer or other stored items while it is on the fairgrounds property.
    7. Damage by Customer: Customer agrees to reimburse The Fair Association for any damages caused to the Fairgrounds buildings and property by the fault or neglect of customer or his agents or family members. – Including oil stains on floors caused by oil leaks.
    8. Damage or Destruction of Storage Building: If any storage building is damaged by fire or other casualty, The Fair Association shall have the option, at its discretion, to repair the storage building or to terminate this agreement by so notifying the customer. In the event The Fair Association elects to terminate, the storage charge shall be refunded to the customer on a pro-rated basis.
    9. Assignment: This agreement shall not be assigned or transferred by customer without prior written consent of The Fair Association.
    10. Rules: Customer agrees to follow all storage rules made and posted at the Fairgrounds.
    11. This agreement may only be amended by written agreement of customer and The Fair Association. Michigan law shall govern this agreement. In the event any part of this agreement is found to be void, the remaining provisions of this agreement shall nevertheless be binding with the same effect as though the voided parts were deleted. The Township shall be considered a third party beneficiary of this agreement.
    12. The Fair Association reserves the right to refuse storage for any item.
